[l3t] Educamp Ilmenau

L3T war im 10. Educamp in Ilmenau durch Anja vertreten und wir haben gemeinsam eine Session über “OER Tracking am Beispiel von L3T” angeboten. Das Ziel war herauszufinden, warum zwar das Buch an sich ein großer Erfolg ist, aber die Rückmeldungen über den Einsatz bzw. dadurch neuentstandene Materialien bisher eher ausbleiben.

Ich kann eigentlich nicht viel ergänzen, nehme aber noch mit, dass das L3T-Buch sehr stark als abgeschlossenes Projekt empfunden wird, wo man eben vielleicht gar nicht dran denkt, dass weiteres gewünscht ist. Also was noch nicht ist, soll einfach werden 🙂 und wir wollen dies auf alle Fälle für die nächste Auflage mitnehmen (genauso wie den Wunsch nach einer noch flexibleren Handhabung der Lehrtexte).

Our publication at this year World Computer Congress about “Get Granular on Twitter – Tweets from a Conference and their Limited Usefulness for Non-Participants” is now online as draft version available.
Abstract:

The use of microblogging applications (especially Twitter) becomes common in different settings. Nowadays, active conference participants post messages on microblogging platforms to exchange information fast and in real- time. Recent research work addressed quantitative analyses in terms of number of tweets or active Twitter user in a specific time period. In this publication we look at the content of the contributions. It can be shown that only a few posts are of interest for non-participants of the corresponding event and that a meaningful usage of a microblogging application needs carefulness.

Das EduCamp in Hamburg ist vorbei. Ich konnte leider nicht teilnehmen, habe aber mit großen Interesse die aufgezeichnete Podiumsdiskussion verfolgt und bedanke mich auch für die Statements von Kerstin und Helge, sowie auch von Prof. Schulmeister die uns daran erinnern, dass es keine Revolution ist, sondern dass wir einen langen Weg der Forschung vor uns haben um Neue Medien gezielt und didaktisch sinnvoll einzuführen:

Online Round Table on “mobile Learning”

8. Blogcarnival: Sind Edu- oder BarCamps nur eine Modeerscheinung?

educamp_logoEs freut mich ganz besonders, dass ich zum 8. Carnival des Wissenwert Blogs einladen darf und ich nahm das bevorstehende EduCamp in Graz als Anlass um der Community folgende Frage zu stellen:

Mit dieser durchaus provokanten Frage möchte ich eigentlich diese Form einer Zusammenkunft durchaus kritisch reflektieren. Ich bin wirklich gespannt auf die Vorschläge, Meinungen und Eindrücke die ihr schildert, d.h. beteiligt euch daran und wir können die Ergebenisse ja gerne auch am EduCamp in einer Session diskutieren.
