It is a great honor to announce a Special Call for Papers for the county slot (Austria) at this year ED-Media conference in Amsterdam. We are searching for excellent research publications in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning. Please feel free to send us our proposal (Abstract) till 14th of December 2018.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to contribute to a call for papers asking for contributions on “trends and opportunities in online education”. We are searching for innovative examples, and emerging trends in teaching and learning with technologies and visions.
We would also be very happy if you can spread the call amongst further interested possible contributors.

Wir biegen in die Zielgerade bei unserem MOOC „Learning to Code: Programmieren mit Pocket Code„. Und wir wollen, dass man das bisherige Gelernte einsetzt und damit einfach Spaß hat:
In diesem Kapitel bist du an der Reihe, du hast die Aufgabe euer eigenes Programm von Grund auf zu entwickeln. Dieses Programm kann ein Spiel, Animation oder auch ganz was anderes sein. Du kannst natürlich alte Programme oder Konzepte von der vorigen Kapiteln verwenden.
Wie macht man mit? Das geht immer und jederzeit, einfach auf iMOOX registrieren und hier anmelden – viel Spaß allen.

Our workshop at this year SEFI-conference in Copenhagen about „Learning dashboard for supporting students: from first-year engineering to MOOC students“ has been published in the conference proceeding.
By applying learning analytics on indicators that are predictive for a successful transition and online course completion, students can be provided with feedback on in order to improve their self-regulation, hereby providing support during the first-year and in online courses.

Zur Info für Nicht-Teilnehmer/innen: Es handelt sich um einen ganztägigen Workshop.
Heute darf ich einmal einen Workshop zu einem ganz anderen Thema machen „Qualtitätssicherung und PR“ in der Wissenschaft und dabei über die Wissenschaftskommunikation an sich sprechen. Insbesondere werde ich auch die Rolle des Internets ansprechen bzw. auf Bildungsmarketing an sich eingehen.
