Das Bundesministerium hat eine Nachschau zur Präsentation des Whitepaper Learning Analytics veröffentlicht und dabei auch das Zitat von mir online gestellt:

„Wir finden, dass vor allem die Personen, die die Daten generieren, auch den unmittelbaren Nutzen haben sollen. Generierte Daten können aber unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen auch anderen Zielgruppen zur Verfügung stehen.“

[article] Neue Dimensionen des Lernens – Weiterbildung mittels MOOCs #moox #imoox

In der Zeitschrift habe ich einen kurzen Artikel zu „Neue Dimensionen des Lernens – Weiterbildung mittels MOOCs“ veröffentlicht.

Abstract:

Massive Open Online Courses, kurz MOOCs, sind einer der Trends im Bereich des tech- nologiegestützten Lehrens und Lernens. Daher ist es wenig verwunderlich, dass alle Bildungssektoren davon profitieren können. Am Beispiel der MOOC-Plattform iMooX. at wird in dem Beitrag die Sichtweise auf diese Form von Online-Kursen dargelegt und gezeigt, auf welch vielfältige Weise diese die Bildung der Gesellschaft erweitern können. Insbesondere ist durch das Aufkommen neuer (medien)didaktischer Formen der Einsatz beträchtlich erweitert worden, sodass MOOCs zukünftig wohl noch eine größere Rolle spielen werden.

Unsere gemeinsaem Publikation zu „Learning Analytics: Einsatz an österreichischen Hochschulen“ versucht ein gemeinsames Verständnis für das Themenfeld zu schaffen und ist nun auch online zugänglich:

Zusammenfassung:

Learning Analytics ist sowohl international als auch national ein immer mehr an Bedeutung gewinnendes Themenfeld, welches dabei helfen kann, Lehr- und Lernprozesse besser zu verstehen und gezielt zu optimieren. Dieses Whitepaper soll eine erste Orientierung zu diesem Thema geben und dabei speziell die österreichische Hochschullandschaft adressieren.
Ausgehend von der Definition: “Learning Analytics umfasst die Analyse, Darstellung und Interpretation von Daten aus Lehr- und Lernsettings mit dem Zweck, dass Lernende ihr Lernen unmittelbar verändern können” werden Herausforderungen benannt und der Status Quo in Österreich präsentiert. Daraus werden sechs Argumente für Learning Analytics abgeleitet und vier konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen ausgesprochen.
