Thanks for sharing your research. Your findings on students perceiving “Web 2.0” as Wikipedia/Youtube are interesting. My informal observation is that students and instructors here are similarly well-equipped, but that we are only just beginning to tap into the creative & collaborative learning potential of the Web community. We do have a few projects underway using wikis & blogs to enhance critical thinking & collaborative learning – and engage with the world community – but I’d say we’re just beginning.
